Nepal is an agriculture based country where occupation of majority of people is farming.
Despite such huge numbers there is very less profit through farming and farmers are very poor because they use the traditional method for farming which is not very effective and profitable. Another problem with traditional farming is that it requires a lot of man power and also farmers depend on the seasonal monsoon rain. This is the reason there is very less profit in the field and many people have left farming and opt it for going abroad to work. But there still are people who want to continue farming in a very modern way.
A new Nepali folk song has been uploaded on YouTube which is very similar to the people. The song is about a man who is a farmer and he also wants a wife who does farming. He gets the girl and he is very happy.
The singers of the song are Khuman Adhikari and Jhuma Dangi. The lyrics of the song have been written by Santosh GM and the music composer of the song is Khuman Adhikari himself. The artists starring in the music video directed by Smriti Timilsina “Guru Aama” are Smriti Timilsina Guru Aama and Suman Thapa.
